The Reconfirmation Agent for the Travel industry is pre-trained to take inbound calls to confirm and give details for a specific itinerary. The Reconfirmation Agent is able to identify an itinerary based on incomplete information provided by a caller. The Reconfirmation Agent identifies an itinerary by: an alpha-numeric confirmation number; date, departure and arrival city, and name; date, flight number, and name; or other combination of information. Once an itinerary is identified, the Reconfirmation Agent allows changes to seats, updating of the frequent flyer or loyalty program number, and other services.
